How are you finding JOY today? Maybe you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, spilled a bunch of coffee on your shirt as you drove to the office only to realize that you forgot the report that you were putting the finishing touches on back at the house. You turn around, grab the report, rush back to the office and arrive 15 minutes late to your meeting and it feels like everyone is now staring at your coffee stain. How the heck do you find JOY in this scenario?

Are you cultivating a nature connection in your life? I recently returned home from a week-long training in Sonoma, California. I was trained as a Forest Therapy Guide - which is based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Bathing). It was fabulous to be disconnected from technology and to truly immerse myself in the forest and the natural environment around me and I'd love to share some of my thoughts from the forest.  |
